Our Activity
Shri Eklavya Seva Utkarsh MandalSkill Development
Shri Eklavya Seva Utkarsh Mandal is dedicated to uplifting the livelihood of rural and marginalized men and women by making them learn skills according to their potential and enhancing their ability so that they can generate income source for themselves. Recognizing the significance of skills in fostering self-employment, Shri Eklavya Seva Utkarsh Mandal offers various training programs. Tailoring, stitching, beautician courses, handicrafts, kite making, and dairy farming are tailored for women. For men, we provide masonry, and Electric Maintenance Mechanic training under Border Village Yojana and animal husbandry camps. In colleges, we have also provided computer training, mobile repair training among students. These initiatives aim to empower individuals with practical skills to generate employment opportunities.
Educational Development
In our pursuit of educational development, we conduct educational kit distribution programs for underprivileged students who can not afford the expenses of these resources. The places where we are working are occupied by economically weaker people and migrant workers engaged in unorganized sectors. Recognizing their limited access, we provide study kits, and the opportunity to take coaching for competitive exam preparation to support job aspirants. These initiatives aim to mitigate educational barriers and empower individuals from marginalized backgrounds to pursue academic and career opportunities.
Medical camp
Our organization is dedicated to providing free, high-quality healthcare services to underprivileged and underserved communities in rural areas. Due to their disadvantaged economic status, these individuals are unable to afford healthcare, which leads to untreated illnesses and prolonged suffering. To address this issue, we conduct health camps where we promote disease awareness and offer free comprehensive check-ups, tests, treatments, and referrals. We are grateful for the collaboration and support of health professionals who have contributed to our cause. To date, we have provided healthcare services to hundreds of people in need.
Nutritional Food Distribution
Having access to daily food is important for a fulfilling life, but nutrition is also crucial for a healthy one. Unfortunately, not everyone in rural and tribal areas has access to nutritious food. To address this issue, we organize multiple Nutritional Food Distribution programs to ensure that everyone has access to the nutrients they need in every meal. These programs are aimed at promoting healthy eating habits and improving the overall health and well-being of the community.
Awareness on Addiction Free Society
We also prioritize raising awareness on building addiction free nation. Addiction to any harmful substances has become a severe issue, especially among youth in remote villages, impacting their health, life, relationships, and overall well-being. Regarding this, we organize awareness programs about addiction and its negative effect on society and also provide support to those struggling with addiction to mainstream to normal life. Our aim is to create a addiction free and healthy society and make a positive impact on the health of both individuals and society.
Support During Corona
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people in rural areas faced economic hardship and struggled to earn their daily meals. To aid them, we distributed grocery kits containing essentials like rice and pulses to numerous families, easing their hunger. Additionally, we provided masks and sanitizers, safeguarding communities from the virus. Awareness campaigns about prevention were also conducted. We are grateful to donors and volunteers who have believed in our efforts and positively impacted those affected by the pandemic, providing vital support during challenging times.
Swayam Siddha Health Care
Shri Eklavya Seva Utkarsh Mandal’s Swayam Siddha Health Care is a commendable health initiative for women. This project aimed at the free distribution of sanitized toilet seat covers among women in colleges, bus stands, railway stations. It is a great way to promote hygiene and prevent unhygienic practices in public toilets during long journeys in trains or other vehicles. This initiative is a step towards ensuring women’s health and safety, which is much needed in our society.
Recently this initiative took place at Parul University where women are distributed free toilet seat covers free of cost.
